Cast away ...Hatta Island
fruehstuecken und dann los auf's boot …dachten wir uns… in INDONESIEN braucht jedoch alles so seine zeit und ich vermute ja auch, dass die leute auf BANDA es lieben, die paar touristen in den wahnsinn zu treiben. :) :) jeder hatte eine andere zeit fuer uns und dann hiess es sogar: „no public boat today!“
...abwarten und tee trinken... wort woertlich :)
verspaetet, aber doch kam dann das kleine boot (ueberraschung!) und wir huepften mit unseren rucksaecken mit rauf. nach diesem hin und her waren wir 4 (dirk + mercy + wir beide) wirklich bereit fuer sonne, strand und meer! :)
in HATTA bezogen wir dann ein suesses doppel-huettchen und hatten schnell unsere koepfe unter wasser.
zum mitschwaermen und -schwimmen:
das riff (drop-off) in HATTA ist unglaublich nahe am strand – vor allem am morgen bei ebbe. ich habe euch ein kurzes video aufgenommen …man beachte auch den eleganten sprung ins wasser :) :)
der beste platz fuer die bezaubernden sonnenuntergaenge war fuer uns 4 reserviert ...ein einsamer strand einige gehminuten von unserem huettchen entfernt. ja, so sehen wir aus wenn wir versuchen zu tanzen :)
unseren traumhaften susi air abflug haben wir mit time-lapse festgehalten:

breakfast and off we go …that’s what we thought… in INDONESIA everything needs a bit more time and i somewhat reckon that the people on the BANDAS actually enjoy driving a few tourists crazy. :) :) everyone had a different boat schedule for us and eventually we were told: “no public boat today!”
...wait and see with some tea... literally!
late, but still the little boat came (surprise!) and we including our bags jumped onto it. after all the back and forth from the morning the 4 of us (dirk + mercy + us 2) were so-so ready for sun, sea and beach! :)
once in HATTA we moved into a sweet double-hut and jumped into the water to explore the house reef. the reef (drop-off) was incredibly close to the beach – especially in the morning with low tide. i took a short video for you …pay attention to the elegant jump into the water :) :)
we spent our days on the island with lots and lots of snorkeling, lots of chatting and simply relaxing. that was made easy due to all the cats lazing around on our terrace …seemingly their favourite spot! mercy and i might have helped the situation a bit as we shared our fish with them :) haha!
the best place to enjoy the stunning sunsets was reserved for the 4 of us ...a lonely beach a few minutes away from our hut. ...and yes, that's what it looks like when we try to dance :)

unsere paar tage auf der insel verbrachten wir mit viel-viel schnorcheln, viel quatschen und seele baumeln lassen. das klappte umso besser da es einfach ueberall katzen gab und unsere terrasse ein beliebter ort fuer die kleinen fellnasen war/wurde …koennte natuerlich auch daran liegen, dass mercy und ich brav fisch verteilten :) haha!
